RECITAL CONCERT BY AMALIA YOUNG

AMALIA YOUNG GIVES A RECITAL
Evington schoolgirl Amalia Young will give a recital of well-known classical music for the violin at St Denys Church on Saturday 14 February at 2pm. Amalia is studying at the Junior Royal Academy of Music in London, and will be accompanied by London-based pianist Bryan Evans. Amalia attended Whitehall Primary School and currently attends Leicester High School for Girls on a music scholarship. In 2014 she was a National Finalist in the Rotary Young Musician Competition. Bryan Evans MBE studied at the Royal College of Music and is now Music Director of Diva Opera, a London-based company performing all over Europe. Amalia and Bryan will play music by Beethoven, Brahms, Saint-Saëns, Hindemith and JS Bach. Included in the price of the ticket is a soup lunch, served prior to the performance at 1pm in the St Denys Parish Centre
