Volunteer with the NHS in your community and make a difference

Volunteer with the NHS in your community and make a difference

Background

The pandemic reduced the number of people and communities involved in many of our NHS patient groups in GP practices and other healthcare services.  We are now reinvigorating our engagement by promoting a range of opportunities for people to get involved in improving local health care and sharing their experiences.  We have also added many more opportunities for people to make a difference.

The benefits of volunteering are massive. It not only helps design better, more person-centred services for everyone, it helps people connect with and empower their community, improves the mental health of individuals and stimulates social values.

We would appreciate your help in promoting the many opportunities we have. We have prepared a toolkit comprising of newsletter and web copy and social media messages, which we hope you find useful.

As always, we appreciate your help in spreading the word, so that we can improve the health and wellbeing of our local population. If you need anything else, please do let us know.
