Scraptoft Hub Wednesday Welcome

Scraptoft Parish Council launched its Wednesday Warm Welcome (in its recently opened lounge area at The Hub, Malsbury Avenue) to get people together to chat, play games, read magazines, colour, do jigsaws and have a drink and a biscuit/cake for a small donation.

Some volunteers are now needed to lend a hand as numbers continue to grow. If you think you can spare an hour between 9 am – 12:30 pm to set out tables and chairs, welcome people into the lounge, help make teas and coffees or just tidy away, then please come along and see for yourself what goes on each Wednesday 10 am – 12 pm and have a chat with Bella, the assistant clerk.
