The Leicester Group of the Victorian Society is currently hosting a national Victorian Society Exhibition at the Methodist Church on Bishop Street, Town Hall Square, Leicester until the 24th June from 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday inclusive. Entry is free…there is a cafe in the building.  The exhibition is called ‘Saving
a Century’ and uses splendid photographs to chart the best Victorian and Edwardian buildings all over the country that the society helped to save and some that were lost during the first fifty years of the Victorian Society…which was founded in 1958.

The exhibition has been touring the country since 2008 and we are lucky to have it here in the centre of Leicester.
