Buckets and Boots, Baskets and Barrows Festival

St Denys Church, Evington is pleased to launch a new festival, celebrating the creativity of our village.  We will be decorating the Church, churchyard and Parish Centre with a  summer display of decorated barrows, baskets, boots and buckets of all shapes, sizes and designs.   The Festival will be launched with a performance by our Junior Singers on Saturday 4th July at 12 noon and finish with a Songs of Praise service at 5pm on Sunday 5th July.  The Church will be open both days 12-5pm for people to come and enjoy the displays with teas served in the Parish Centre.

We are looking for individuals and organisations to get creative and enter a boot, bucket, barrow or basket.  Prizes will be awarded for the most creative entry in each category.

The church will be open on Friday 3th July from 3-7pm to drop your entry off, and again on Monday 6th July from 3-7pm for collection.
