Drug Den Found In Evington
A cannabis factory has been found in Evington following a police chase across Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Leicestershire Police attempted to stop a van in Durston Close on Wednesday 19th November, but the van fled the scene, eventually being stopped by armed officers on the A38. Multiple large black bin bags were found inside the van which contained parts of cannabis plants. Phones and cash were also found in the vehicle. The police discovered 156 cannabis plants, worth £109,200, and cultivation equipment in the property in Durston Close. Two men, Orjesto Zekio, 21 and Ramadan Shtepenja, 23, both of no fixed abode, have been charged with the production of a class B controlled drugs.
