Autism Awareness Funday – 27th July 2025
You are invited to a unique celebration of Autism on Sunday 27th July at Crown Hills School, Gwendolen Road, Leicester LE5 5FT from 12noon to 6,00pm. All welcome and free entry.
This Autism Awareness Funday will double as an event and for raising funds for four Leicester based Autism friendly charities.

- 4. Daryal Autism UK.
All funds donated through the Go Fundme link will be divided equally between these four excellent organisations, who provide opportunities and support for families and adults with Autism.
The event at Crown Hills Community College i on 27th July 2025 is a follow up to a very successful Downs Syndrome Funday and Fundraiser that was staged the same time last year.
It will feature an Open Mic in the large marquee from which recitation, poetry performances, speeches from Autism experts, singing and more will be broadcast around the grounds. During the afternoon, there will be scheduled games, such as sack racing, egg and spoon racing and welly chucking, as well as craft stalls, henna, bouncy castles, archery and a penalty competition.
There will also be a selection of food, including Caribbean, English, cream tea and cakes, as well as classic Leicester Asian BBQ, Indian Chai and an ice cream van will also be available. In addition, throughout the afternoon, a Grand Auction will take place where a range of fabulous prizes, such as weekends away, unique artworks and celebration cake can be won.
There will also be talks about Autism Provision in Leicester from Autism experts.
