Accident on Downing Drive – Appeal for witnesses

The police have launched an appeal for witnesses after an accident with a cyclist that took place on about 8.00pm on Saturday 9th August 2025 between a cyclist and a grey Renault Megane.  This accident took place on Downing Drive.

The cyclist was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he remains in a serious condition.

A man has been arrested in connection with the crash, but released pending further inquiries.
