This group is based at Vulcan House (LE53EF) but uses Evington Park House as a venue for their Recovery Assistance dog training.

‘Recovery’ is a charity for mental health and spreads the word that people can recover from mental health needs through creative therapies. They campaign that people can recover if they have freedom from fear and freedom of choice.

In Evington Park House the group meet with their dogs on Tuesday afternoon. The dogs are trained to assist the survivors emotionally.

In our society we all accept that dogs are necessary to help blind people. Similarly dogs that help mental health survivors can also be accepted.
