Christmas Lunch at the Parish Centre in Evington

On Thursday 19th December 2024, local residents enjoyed a Christmas Lunch together with all the trimmings.  This took place is the comfortable venue of St. Denys Church Parish Centre.

The event was sponsored by Best Community Charity (BCC) and supported by Friends of Evington (FoE).

Cllr. Zuffar Haq paid a surprise visit to wish everyone a happy Christmas and praise the community spirit that led to this event and the generosity of the sponsors, Best Community Charity.  Raj Sharma and Helen Pettman were commended for their hard work, but many others worked hard to make this event a success.
